How many times you feel overwhelmed by actions in your ‘to do’ list, by goals, ‘priorities’, even by ideas and thoughts?
How many time do you feel just blocked by this feeling, not knowing where to start from, where to focus on, and -in the end- just procrastinate things or do nothing ?
Well, don’t worry there’s nothing wrong with you! Neuroscience says this is a perfectly normal reaction of the brain and a Simple way to unblock it is the following:
1. Take some deep breaths, focusing only on your breathing for one minute, just let your thoughts be and go away as they come
2. Remember your bigger ‘why’. Your bigger purpose in life and in business. Now try to connect every ‘item’ on the list with this why. According to this connection , Mark every item as ‘must do now’, ‘must do later’ and just get rid of ALL the rest or ‘park’ them in some other list
3. Just focus on 3 ‘must do now’ items for the day. Break them into small chunks and start working immediately on the first, most demanding chunk of the most important thing (I.e ‘eat your frog’ first).
The above steps will activate the chemistry of your brain required to relax, focus and re-activate you .
