In the previous post we saw that the process of envisioning what we want to achieve dynamically activates the Q-Mind and multiplies the power of the 1st Key of activation: The definition of “Point B”. In what way should this envisioning be done though, so that it can be so powerful?
Neuroscience has helped us understand the 7 secrets of effective envisioning:
1. It should be done with your eyes closed (so that external stimuli are minimized). Relaxation or Meditation music can help.
2. We us our imagination το the maximum so that we let ourselves:
3. Live the experience with ALL 5 senses (vision, touch, hearing, smell, taste).
4. Feel -to the maximum- the positive emotions evoked.
5. Live the experience as if it is happening IN THE PRESENT, not like a possible future scenario.
6. ‘Seal’ with positive statements, that can be repeated like a mantra after the envisioning process.
7. Make sure the ‘point B’ has a powerful and direct relationship with a higher purpose, which is useful not only to the visioner but also to other people.
Exercise:
Close your eyes and take 3 deep breaths leaving yourself to relax. In the whole process accept that your Mind will produce irrelevant, side-thoughts and decide that you will let them go away as they came along, focusing your thoughts back to the exercise.
Imagine that you live -with all your 5 senses- your ‘Point B’ (every time you do this it will be better than the last one) and you live it like it is happening NOW (not in the future).
Allow yourself feel to the maximum the powerful, positive emotions of achievement as well as the feelings that these emotions evoke, in every cell of your body.
Anchor these powerful, positive emotions on a spot on your body and repeat a positive statement (mantra) in the present tense to accompany this emotion. (ex. I am… I feel… I accomplish…etc.).
Repeat the exercise for a few days and observe how the quality and the intensity of your envisioning changes. Start by envisioning just the end-result (point B, like you have already achieved it, and in the next days add more scenes from the deployment of your path to go there (things that come to you that you will do in order to get to point B.
