Which mode is your Mind set into?

How ready are you to activate your Q-Mind?

Our Mind can function in two modes, regarding its predisposition towards getting out of its comfort zone:

The ‘Fixed Mode’ and the ‘Growth Mode’. When it stays in the ‘Fixed mode’ then we adopt an attitude where

a) we assume there is only one ‘right way’ for every issue

b) we consider our view as the right one and we identify with it

c) we regard our view as self-evident for others

d) we see dilemmas everywhere (either ‘x’ or ‘y’)

e) we discourage others to express different views

f) we selectively search for information that confirm our views.

In the ‘Growth Mode’ we adopt an attitude where

a) we assume that there may be different ways to understand or see things

b) we regard our own view as possibly incomplete because it may have missed some parameters

c) we see our view as a hypothesis that others can investigate

d) we look for the optimal way to reach to combining solutions (both ‘x’ and ‘y’)

e) we seek others’ criticism to self-improve

f) we look for information that may change our point of view.

Exercise: Write down the situations in which your Mind gets more into the Fixed Mode and those it gets more into the Growth Mode. Which of your practices do you decide to keep and which to change, in order to help the faster activation of your Q-Mind?
